storytelling {tips}
1. Tell us your story as if your audience is meeting you for the first time. Assume they know nothing about your life and especially your work. So make sure to give us any details we need to know to understand your story, beginning with the location and time where and when it takes place.
2. Keep it short and focused. If the lead character's grandmother's lunch plans aren't important to the plot, you can probably leave it out.
3. Don't worry about being a good writer. You're not being graded! Write your story as you'd tell it casually to a group of good friends.
